OF RETURNS – 2008

7 APRIL ----------------- Send a representative to the Distribution
Evening at Ipswich Cricket Club, Clay Hall, Copdock (5.30 - 7.30
pm) to collect cricket balls, handbooks, result sheets etc. (Cheque
for balance of cost of balls must be taken) Alternatively, authorise
a member of a neighbouring club in writing to collect these items
for you. A cheque will still be required otherwise your cricket
balls will not be released, unless, of course, you have already
paid in full.
7 APRIL ------------------Bring annual subscription of £50
to John Bradley at the Distribution Evening. Suffolk-based clubs
to include an additional £20 to cover ECB and Suffolk Board
affiliation fees.
26 APRIL Send declaration of paid coaches (and details of coaching
programme where declaration "A" has been signed) to Secretary
to arrive by 29 April.
26 APRIL * Send nominations for Over 50s to Geoff Newman to arrive
by 29 April.
26 JULY * Send any proposals for changes to the Championship Rules
to the Secretary to arrive by 1 August.
26 AUGUST Send entries for 2009 season to Secretary to arrive by
1 September. Please note that a proforma for this purpose will be
issued during the season.
6 OCTOBER Send a delegate to the Annual General Meeting at Ransomes
Sports & Social Club, Ipswich (7.30 start). Ensure that a reserve
delegate is available.
15 OCTOBER Send Fixture Secretary or substitute to the Fixture Meeting
at Copdock & Old Ipswichian C.C., London Road, Copdock (7.30
start) If you are entering a team in Division "C". Ensure
that a reserve Officer is available. All other fixtures will be
emailed as soon as they are available.
IMPORTANT
THE DATES FOR RETURNS ETC. ARE THE LATEST BY WHICH THE RETURNS SHOULD
BE MADE. IN MANY INSTANCES, IT WOULD GREATLY ASSIST YOUR LEAGUE
OFFICERS IF THESE RETURNS COULD BE SUBMITTED WELL BEFORE THE DEADLINE.
EXCEPT FOR THOSE "RETURNS" MARKED (*), CLUBS THAT FAIL
TO MEET THE SPECIFIED DEADLINE WILL TREATED AS HAVING FAILED TO
MEET THE STANDARD SET FOR ADMINISTRATION AND MAY BE PENALISED AT
THE END OF THE SEASON.
